How the fund works

Who is eligible to receive these benefits?

Those employees, whose employers have contributed towards this fund during the benefit year i.e. 01 November to 31 October. 

Additional qualifying rules are published from time to time. 

When are these benefits paid to eligible employees?

The Council will determine a date before the commencement of the annual leave period (typically mid-December) when qualifying employees will receive payment of the fund contributions made by employers.

The holiday period is confirmed with the publishing of the calendar each year.
