Main Collective Agreement

A Collective Agreement is the outcome of negotations between employers' organisations and trade unions (parties to the Council), in a particular industry.

The agreement is submitted to the Minister of Employment and Labour for registration under the Labour Relations Act 66 of 1995 (as amended). Thereafter and by application, the agreement may be extended to non-parties.
