Holiday Fund

This fund was created to provide for leave pay, and accommodates for employees who have worked for multiple employers during the year.

Daily contributions towards this fund are made by the employer to the BIBC during the year. This is in lieu of the leave pay entitlement in the Main Collective Agreement. 

Employees receive up to 15 leave days, including public holidays.

The BIBC publishes the start and closing dates of the annual builders' holiday, and pays out holiday/leave pay a week before the annual holiday starts.
