Employee Registration

All persons employed in the building industry in the categories covered by the Main Collective Agreement, must be registered with the BIBC. 

Who must register employees?

Employers are responsible for the registration of their employees.

Why should employees be registered?

When registered with the BIBC, employees receive the benefits that are due to them, in accordance with the Main Collective Agreement. 

When must employees be registered?

Employers must ensure that their employees are registered with the BIBC within 14 days of commencing employment.

How can employees be registered?

Employers must register their employees on the BIBC's eesi© platform using the Provisional Employee Registration module, (see the eesi© login button at the top of this screen). Ensure that all required information is provided.
